We recently have moved from RewindHost to VPSLatch. Yes, we are now on our own VPS! The people at VPSLatch have been wonderful so far, and let’s hope they stay like that

Hopefully you all have read the email that I sent out yesterday. It basically explained that we have yet another server move coming up.

For those who have been hosted with me for a while, you should already be familiar with the idea. But for those who are new, there’s nothing really to worry about. Just follow the instructions that I sent out.

I do not know when it shall happen but I shall notify you all when I get the news.

I have been contemplating on changing hosts. I’m not dissatisfied with RH but yeah…hmmm. What do you guys think? Again, I’m treading on the managed VPS line (since resellers are around that price as well) but I’m not too sure yet.

[EDIT] Nah, I don’t think so. Nvm that.

Firstly, I will be running a site check soon, so make sure you’re following the rules Generally I usually won’t announce when I do a site check but I decided that I will this time . So make sure your site is following the rules and you shall have nothing to worry about!~ (Psssst – So far the most common rule is the ‘at least update every 2 months’)

I’ve also updated the hostee list again. Lol. I’m quite amazed at how many hostees there are! Welcome new hostees! I hope you enjoy it here!

Also, just a plug, hahaha. Sky-Song.ORG has a new layout. Nothing really interesting.

Yeah the rest of the post is really just a ramble~

For a while now I have been thinking of purchasing a VPS (Virtual Private Server) because…well we are growing and I do want the best for our sites.  It’s not going to happen anytime soon however, since maintaining a VPS is a lot of hard work and very difficult. I’m going to have to do some learning Also the prices are rather…expensive (looking at well into the hundreds), so let me save up over these couple of months/years (?). We’re holding up quite fine on my host right now and most websites are static pages. Anyways, I’m going to work hard and maintain Three-Words the best that I can!

While we’re waiting on that news, I’ll just announce the contest winners! Excited? Yes? Okay, here goes:

Sorry about not updating you on this earlier but the server was too slow that it would let me log in into wordpress T_T.

If you hadn’t notice there was some downtime yesterday and the server also became incredibly slow. The problem isn’t fully fixed yet but viewing the sites is much more bearable now. My host is still working on this and I’ll keep you updated.

Remember to check the twitter for updates (here). I have yet to update the Tumblr so Twitter and the main site are your best bet for all the updates.
