Rules
- Paid advertisements will be allowed, however you need to notify me first.
- The site must be free of illegal/licensed, warez and/or any other materials considered against the law. I will not take the fall for anyone. This includes but is not limited to mp3s, video files, scans and more. You MAY link to mp3 files uploaded elsewhere.
- Hosting MAY NOT be used as a storage site. I will be checking regularly for site activity etc. Please update at least once every 2 months.
- Subdomain hostees are not allowed to host other people.
- Domain hostees, you may, but it may not be the main focus of your site. Also remember they will be using your space and bandwidth. They must also follow the rules, or you will take the fall for them.
- Continuing on the previous dot point – for domain owners who want to host other people, you may get the chance to upgrade to have reseller features (create Cpanels for hostees). However, you need at least be hosted with me for 2 months AND your site must be active. There will be a limitation on how many Cpanel accounts you can create, however this is negotiable
- Domain hostees must already have purchased their own domain. I will not buy the domain for you.
- You have your OWN responsibility to back up your files regularly.
- If you are going on hiatus, please notify me and state the reason why and how long you think it will take.
- On the hosting application, please check ‘no’ in have you read the rules and will follow them (obviously, you will xD)
- Sites MUST be in English and please, refrain from typing LiKE tHiS because it’s really hard to read. Also, try to use correct grammar.
- You must get your site up within 3 weeks (even if it’s just a banner saying ‘coming soon’). If not, please contact me and we’ll work something out. I know life can be hectic sometimes!
What I will host
- Fanlisting Collectives
- Blogs/Personal Sites
- Small fansites
- Graphic sites
- ….ummmm I dunno what else, but I’m sure I’ll accept it if it’s within reason.
What I will not host
- IRC/IRC egg drops or bots
- Mail bombers
- IP spoofers
- Port scanners
- Video & Game hosting/streaming (excluding Flash & Java Games) (third party streaming is permitted)
- Adult Material (Pornographic and/or obscene content)
- Illegal distributing and/or advertising of copyrighted material
- Warez/Nulled Content
- Websites designed specifically for downloads
- Offensive, racist sites
Termination
By not abiding any of the rules, you will be terminated. I will give you three warnings, and on the fourth warning, your account will be suspended. I will give you 1 week’s notice before deleting the site, which will provide you enough time to backup your files. Also, on rare occasions, I simply no longer wish to host someone. This is not a negotiable situation.
