Harry Potter
I'm absolutely obsessed with Harry Potter, I'm a Potterhead
So far, I've watched all the movies except for the 2 Deathly Hallows movies, and I've finished Book 5. As I'm reading the books, I'm watching the movie for the book so I can compare. What's your Hogwarts House? By the personality sorting hat quizzes online for what your Hogwarts house is, I usually get Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. |

There we go, moved this thread from the general discussions board
Anyway... I read all the books and watched all the movies. Even tried out the sorting. I was placed in Gryffindor on the official sorting from the Warner Bros site before so it was quite amusing. |

RE: Harry Potter
Thanks
![]() Could you give me the link? I don't think I've come across it, I hope on Pottermore I get Ravenclaw/Gryffindor, though, any house I'm okay with. |

RE: Harry Potter
Lol, sorry, I dunno the link anymore. Its been ages since I tried it... probably by the time Chamber of Secrets became a movie. Try going to the main site of the HP movies of Warner Bros. I believe you can search it

RE: Harry Potter
I've literally watched Deathly Hallows Part 2 yesterday and it just reminded me of how much I love Harry Potter. I practically grew up with it, I grew up as Harry, Ron and Hermione grew up and the last movie came out just when I turned 20, thus officially "putting an end" (for lack of a better term) to my childhood. (Yes, I cried at the end, why do you ask?)
I am a big fan of the books, I really enjoy reading them. While I cannot say the same for the movies. I absolutely LOVE the first two movies, I like the third one as well, but I didn't quite like the fourth and fifth movies... I think it's because of the way they were directed. I loved the fifth book, but not the fifth movie. I started liking them again when the sixth movie came out, then I thought Deathly Hallows Part 1 was alright... and then Deathly Hallows Part 2 was AMAZING. I love it as much as I love the first two movies. It just... blew me away. I decided not to re-read book 7 before going to see DH Part 2 and maybe that's partly why I enjoyed it so much - I remembered the most important parts, but this way I couldn't focus on the differences because I hadn't read it recently. Anyway, all I'm saying is that I'm probably a Potterhead and I'll gladly fangirl about Harry Potter with anyone, anytime! |

RE: Harry Potter
And I totally agree with you on that.
I just finished the series this week! And for the movies, as much as I hate to say it, your right haha. They were good, but I don't know, there's just something about the fourth and fifth one I didn't like either. I just watched Deathly Hallow Part 1, it was okay too, but I still have to say the ending wasn't suspenseful enough. |

RE: Harry Potter
Yeah!!!! A HP Thread!
Been a HUGE fan since the books came out. It was 'golden time' in class and our teacher sat us down in the middle of the classroom and read us the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and I just fell in love and started reading the books, and the movies followed soon after obviously ... I just adore the fandom! I'm on Pottermore too! Although, I haven't been very active, it was sort of on the whim during the summer holidays and I got into Slytherin ... tempted, tempted to get back on it, but time during the day is so limited ![]() (08-24-2011 08:32 AM)Chibi Wrote: I've literally watched Deathly Hallows Part 2 yesterday and it just reminded me of how much I love Harry Potter. But I agree with others though, about the epilogue I mean, could've done without it, it only made me laugh if not anything else! HP shall forever live in my heart They say that they will be reproducing the movies in about 20-30 years time! I can't wait to see who plays the characters, because honestly, I thought that the casting for these 8 movies were SPOT on. They were exactly how you would imagine them in your head and just perfect really. Alan Rickman was one of my favourites Snape <3 ... but I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't looking forward to revamped movies! (I demand ore Quidditch scenes!)
