free hosting rules

• Be respectful. To me and to other hostees. I will not tolerate any form of abuse and you will immediately be terminated if this occurs.
• I will not code your layout for you – but if you are having problems, depending if I have time, I will most certainly be able to help you
• Please ensure that all scripts that you intend on using are up-to-date.
• Paid advertisements will be allowed however you need to notify me first.
• You have your own responsibility to back up your files regularly.
• Domain hostees must already have purchased their own domain. I will not buy the domain for you but I can purchase it on your behalf.
• The site must be free of illegal/licensed, warez and/or any other materials considered against the law. I will not take the fall for anyone. This includes but is not limited to mp3s, video files, scans and more. You MAY link to mp3 files uploaded elsewhere.
• Hosting MAY NOT be used as a storage site. I will be checking regularly for site activity etc. Please update at least once every 2 months.
• If you are going on hiatus, please notify me and state the reason why and how long you think it will take.
• On the hosting application, please check ‘no’ in have you read the rules and will follow them (obviously, you will xD)
• Sites MUST be in English and please, refrain from typing LiKE tHiS because it’s really hard to read. Also, try to use correct grammar.
• You must get your site up within 4 weeks (even if it’s just a banner saying ‘coming soon’). If not, please contact me and we’ll work something out. I know life can be hectic sometimes!

Providing hosting on free hosting

• Subdomain hostees are not allowed to host other people.
• Domain hostees, you may, but it may not be the main focus of your site. Also remember they will be using your space and bandwidth. They must also follow the rules, or you will take the fall for them.
• If you intend to offer hosting and wish that your hostees to link back, they must link back to me.

Paid hosting rules

1. Down time and data loss

In a perfect world, there would be 100% uptime and no possible chance of data loss. However, this is not possible. While I take great measures in reducing the chance of these occuring (by choosing a reputable VPS provider and having daily back ups) it is highly recommend and your responsibility to back up your site on a regular basis. We take no resposibility for any data loss or down time.

2. Member conduct

You agree to not use the service to:

• upload, post or transmit any illegal data, that is harmful, threatening, abusive, vulgar, obscene, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
• impersonate any person or entity.
• upload any illegal/licensed, warez and/or any other materials considered against the law. This includes but is not limited to: copyrighted mp3s, videos, images etc.
• no pornography
• IRC/IRC egg drops or bots
• Anything that would threaten the integrity of the server, for example but not limited to, DDOS scripts, mail bombers, spam mail etc.

3. Free Hosting

Resellers are allowed to provide free hosting on their accounts however it must not be the sole purpose of their account. You will also need to notify me beforehand if you do intend to offer this service.

4. Payment Policy

Accounts will not be activated until the first payment is made. After completing an order, an invoice is usually sent out to the registered email. If you did not receive the email, please check your spam folder / mark admin[at]three-words.net as not spam.

5. Overdue Payment

Invoices are generated and sent 2 weeks before the due date. A remainder will be sent a week after woods. Your service will be suspended after 5 days being overdue. If you do not pay within a money after the due date, we will unfortunately have to terminate your account.

6. Money Back Guarantee/Refunds

We provide a money back guarantee for all clients as we don’t believe in ‘locking in’ clients. The money back guarantee is only applicable with annually payments.

Whenever you decide to cancel your annually plan with us, we will refund the remaining months. We will not refund you for the month that you request your cancellation in.

For example:

If you pay yearly for the R3 on the 1st of January and decide to cancel the plan in April:

$60 ÷ 12 months = $5 per month

There are 8 months remaining in the plan so therefore:

$5 x 8 = $40

Therefore, I will refund you $40 .

The money back guarantee is only valid if you obey the Terms of Service correctly. If you were terminated for breaking the T.O.S then you will not receive your money back.

The following items are not refundable:

• Domain Names (after 3 days of purchase)
• SSL Certificates
• Licenses (WHMCS/ClientExec)
• 3rd party fees
